My car broke down Saturday evening. The only place open Sunday was Pep-Boys, so I took my car there and told them that it was likely a problem with my ignition switch or starter. They charged me $19 for a diagnostic to test the starter and battery, told me that both were fine, and then got my car running. It died again a few hours later and they told me that my engine had likely seized. I took my car to Zia Auto Repair on the recommendation of the tow truck driver and AAA Monday morning. They were able to verify that the starter and the battery had gone bad, that my engine was fine, and were able to complete the repair by that afternoon. I've been driving it for a few days now and it is not giving me any problems. They even replaced a corrosive cable that was likely the reason for the last starter failing and assured me that the battery and repairs are under nationwide warranty in case anything happens when I head home in a few months. I will be bringing my car back here for any work that needs to be done as long as I'm in town. I trust that Sean and the crew will do excellent work and give me a straight answer.
